The Winning Bid Pathway

Buyers have a pathway. Suppliers never did.

A three-level learning pathway for suppliers who want to understand public tendering, build stronger submissions, and make better bid decisions. No procurement background is required for Level One.

Level One: Bid Ready

For suppliers new to public tendering. Duration: two days, or six weeks online. Assessment: written examination.

Focus: public buying, registration, tender reading, compliance, and submission mechanics.

Level Two: Bid Competent

For suppliers who have submitted before and want to stop losing on technicalities. Duration: three days, or eight weeks online. Assessment: scenario-based examination.

Focus: evaluation criteria, specifications, evidence, pricing, capacity, partnerships, clarifications, debriefs, and challenges.

Level Three: Bid Strategist

For people leading bid decisions. Duration: four days, plus portfolio. Assessment: portfolio and oral defence.

Focus: bid-or-no-bid decisions, cost of bidding, early engagement, framework arrangements, contract delivery, bid functions, and integrity.

Entry requirements

Level One has no entry requirement. Level Two and Level Three progression is assessed on prior learning and experience.

Fees will be published after owner approval. No payment is collected from this page. The Winning Bid Pathway is a VERITORIS programme and does not award an APMP or CIPS credential.
